I'd like to see some more activity back on this thing... doubt it will, but hell I can try...

Edit: So I just looked back at previous entries in the community... So, wow, I posted a lot of useless junk some years ago. xD I'm a weirdo, but hell I haven't changed.

Huh...an LJ...
Figured that I would pimp my little journal of ficlets and stories and such here, now that I'm discovered this community.

Warning in advance, pretty much all my chars are gay.  Anybody that knows me from the Feathermoon Forums knows this already, though.

Anyhow..yay Feathermoon!

Looking for Emmeline / Lienesse of Feathermoon.
It appears that your account has been compromised, and we're missing stuff from the guild vault.

- the only reason I post this here, is because I seem to recall this is where I met Emm, a long time ago. I haven't played in awhile, but I just got an email from the guildmaster trying to make contact with her.

Oh no, not more of those stupid ficlets
Hey guys, how's it hanging?

I've been taking a break from World of Warcraft until Wrath of the Lich King comes out, which I'm looking forward to immensely. I simply can't stay away from my character for long, however, and I've been more active than ever with my writing.

I've made a journal of but the ficlet project I worked on all through last year. I'm currently putting up the old ones, but in the next week or two, newer ones will be posted as they're written.

Sound like fun? You can check them out at storiesbysam. (PG-13, for violence and a little profanity and really icky boy tauren kissing.)

For those of you who could care less about ficlety goodness, I'm kind of out of the loop. What are the O_o talents everybody's talking about? Which classes are really happy and which ones are po'd? All I know is, man, that 51 point Affliction talent is sweeeeeet!

I found this whilst surfing through my interests. I am really amused/happy to find a community for Feathermoon!

I transferred two weeks ago, from Farstriders, so I am a recent implant. But so far I enjoy the server very much! I would like to add that /Horde and /Hordefun are good channels and we're lucky to have them. Thank you for the effort involved there.

I was curious if there were any really active RP guilds recruiting. I used to run the House of Balewind (161+ members) on Farstriders and I am starting to get a wee bit lonely without any interaction.

I've a level 60 Blood Elf Mage Marium (Márium: in-game. I had to add the character over the A due to someone else having his name when I transferred him over). I PVP a significant amount and am nearly a twink for the bracket, but I still would love an opportunity to get to know more people on the server, weather you RP, PVP, Raid or just PVE.

Look foward to talking to you all here, or in-game!

Guild Created - Stormrunners of Midnight
Yep - got one started and geez, we're heavy in the Nelf department w/ hunter and druid department...sooo, we're looking for mages, paladins and priests to round us out - any Alliance Race will do...just a weeee bit. Interested, contact me or one of the officers. Trust me, we don't bite. And I made lvl 22 last night - I know, whoopee do! But I was happy...and this is the guild blog spot I did yesterday. I wonder if I should stick this on LJ (as in a group)??? And the funny thing is, Cinnexia was telling me about the bank but when I figured it all out (100 gold! OHMIGOSH! O_O) I laughed because we're a broke guild - for now!

Guild Recruitment - Alliance Players!!!
Planning on starting a guild on Feathermoon server. I will be at Darnassus tonight around 3pm-ish CMT (my time) to get a charter from the guild master Guild will be a social/party type guild aimed at being friendly, helpful (for quests, leveling up, dungeons, etc), mature (if that is possible) I don't have a name yet (I've been pondering something like "Stormshadows of Midnight Sun" - yes, throwing in abit of Led Zepplin there..or just call the guild "Fleetwood Runners" as an ode to Fleetwood Mac or "Firewater Walkers" another ode to another band called Firewater) but I'd like the guild name to be something if and when there are enough people to sign the charter, all can be agreed on. So, if you're interested, look for Whisperhawk over at Darnassus. Must be lvl 15+ or higher to join. Also looking for a Horde (is this possible?) sister-guild or just an Alliance sister-brother guild. I'm currently in Darnassus and will be back at 8pm-ish CMT. Hope to see you there!

(OOC) Horde Channel is Taking Donations...

If you are already a member of the Horde channel, please skip the following two paragraphs.

The Horde channel (/Horde) is a communication channel for use on offensive and defensive related issues. It serves as a network of interested members of our Faction for World PVP and battleground material. Currently, the channel has a steady membership of around 50 to 60 during peak hours, which is fantastic since it has only been in commission for roughly six months. if you have not done so and this sounds like an interesting venture, please feel free to join /Horde. We also have started a off-topic, chatterbox channel related to this channel that can be located at /HordeFUN.

All I ask that when joining the Horde channel, please be aware that this is a volunteer type of membership and while there are many people in the channel, the channel is not to be used for looking for groups (unless its related to world pvp or battleground issues), trade issues, or general chatter. That's what the HordeFUN channel was created for. (:

That being said, I would like to announce that through a collaborative effort between myself and Moou, there will be a "Warrant" event that will be upcoming in the next week or so. This challenge to make the kills on certain Alliance individuals is an attempt to bring world pvp and some RP into the mix. Yes, it is kind of like that "Gank List" challenge idea that was run a few months ago too (: An official IC post will be made which will have all the details of who and the start date, etc. BUT, these bounties are in need of some contributions. While I would love to support the reward fund myself, its simply not possible. Thus, I am seeking to raise roughly 800 gold or more.

That is what I am making a plea here for morning: if you would be willing to donate (gold or items that could be vendered or auctioned off for the reward pool), please send to our newly created channel alt, Hiaha. Your efforts will be noted in the official RP post. We are also interested in any common item donations as well, such as buff food or excess potions you may have, for another on-going event idea we have cooking for the future.

Moou and I thank you for making a contribution, if you choose to do so, and also for taking the time to read this post today!

So after revisiting my abandoned LiveJournal, I realized just how many communities I actually maintain that have people in them.

This is one of them.

(H) Are you a World Defender?
I call to you now, my fellow Horde, we must unite.

There is nothing more precious than that of communication during times of crisis and battle. Would you not rather be informed when a situation arises, when you hear the rolling thunderous boom of the drums of war? These little groupings, these small out croppings of defense that comes to aid our towns and villages under attack are good for the short term, but if aid is required further, does it not make sense to have all that is available to you?

You may know my name and you may not. Either way, please hear my plea.

I often go as much as I can to respond to these alarms, but far too often I find that we do not have any viable lines of communication... and often, hardly anyone comes to aid further. We have to let them maul our brothers, our mothers, and fathers into pulp for the screams to perhaps beckon one or two more to come to the area if they feel like.

We need a place to communication several things: What is attacking, how many, and who they are. We need to do these things in ONE place, under ONE name. It's useless to throw yourself alone at these attackers, why not be open to having the security of backup behind you and a tender touch of heals?

I have dedicated my life to defending the Horde, no matter who and where. I have dedicated my studies to that of healing, which is useless when it cannot be applied to more powerful beings that can assist in defense. I can't help you if I can't see you. You can't help me if you don't know I'm there.

Please. Please, fellow Horde. Let us unite for defending our homes. Spread the word to your friends, your family, your guilds. We are the Horde -- honor awaits us all, but only if we are as one.

(( Join /Horde ))

soon to be on Feathermoon :)
Hi All,

Currently in the process of transferring my 70 Shad priest to Feathermoon and looking for friends, Guild recommendations, etc.
He is well geared up to but not including 25 man loot.  His +dam is at 1106 unbuffed.

Im looking for a raiding guild that is well into the 25 mans and past Kara.  I play 3-4 nights a week depending on my schedule here in New Hampshire.  Server time is one hour later then my actual time.

If anyone is in a guild that can use me, feel free to post !

Things to come, things that were, and things that will be...
There was rain falling in brill, a light drizzle that drifted in with the passing fog that nearly blotted out the small town. Navre hadn't known how long the rain had been falling for, but it did well in soeaking into her muddied, dirty fur. It did well to hide the tears that had continued to run a large patterned streamer down the front of her muzzle and over her snout, a fit that had lasted since her rapid, confused flagging from Storm Spire.

Everyone... everyone important, had left her. The worn dark Tauren settled raggedly, against the side panel of the digger's hut that sat at the furthest corner of the dilapitated Brill graveyard. There, her gaze drifted into a squint and her sides heaved as she mournfully cried in her quiet of the rainful. The soaked dark hood had been thrust back, the filmy green lens fogged over no doubt as she cried. Such a torrent of pain, she felt, as she slid against her back down into the waterlogged ground.

"Perdy... "

She couldn't bear to open her eyes, her hands covering her face. Why was he leaving? Why was he leaving her, her mind swirled. Confused, hurt, and angry, there was little the Tauren could do. Her dark gloves couldn't smear the tears away and the rain would not cease for her, but that all mattered very little. In her mind, a voice teased her. 'Of course... they all leave you, they always have. You remember the warlock? The one you helped when you came? Even he left, the Scarlets took good care of him. You couldn't save him, and you couldn't save Perdurabo either. You can't even save your own, what good are you?'

Clenched fists found a handful of mud soon, grasing at the ground with a baleful wail.

"It's not my fault, IT'S NOT MY FAULT!"

Her voice dropped into a shocked whisper, eyes opening momentarily and then sadly gazing out. She was still alone. There was no one around in the graveyard at this time in the morning anyway.

"...You left a hole where my heart should be. I'm left here standing...standing alone, for all I've stood for... what -we- stood for."

She couldn't help but tremble as her own words echoed in her ears, that were feverishly pressed against her head. It was a bad dream, wasn't it? Alas, even she could not be fooled by herself. Perhaps it would have been easily for her if he had mysteriously vanished, like the other warlock. But to hear him say goodbye... her confidant, her ally. Her Perdy, who could do no wrong in her eyes.

"Why can't you feel me? Calling your name?"

An inward ache filled her belly, the emptiness of a broken heart. At least if he had been dead, she could have been mourning at a grave. But she had nothing, utterly nothing. A broken mind, already some might have argued, was flashing with the repeated calls of the voice that spoke to her, of reason and of sanity. 'There is still work to be done... he is nothing now, for you. You have no ties, now.'

It was all the more reason to continue with her plans. She would make them feel her pain. Alone in the drizzle, off to the side of the ditch digger's shed, the Tauren slumped into a sleep of horrid dreams. The time drew closer, a vagrant deadline looming over heads as they roamed the silvery forests.

((Still seeking more for the weekend of August 405th (first weekend) for an event. See the previous post for better details.))
